Singer/songwriter, producer and composer, Brian Nolan, founded Taste of Soul in mid-2008 in Medford, Oregon with a 10-piece band. This new group of self-determined focused musicians shares their talents as well as their stories of love, heartbreak and triumph through its lyrical sincerity and instrumental power. Now we are a completely self-contained musical group that produces, engineers, promote, manage, write, compose and perform all of our own tracks and promotional material. We are currently in the process of starting to record new material for our upcoming sophomore CD; sure to be filled with more truthful R&B!

In his own words: “I’m not interested in genre adherence or aping something, just developing my ideas. Songs seem to want to be whatever they want to be. Sometimes I try out different styles for a tune before settling on what feels right. That said, sometimes it’s fun to do different versions.” Whit enjoys foreign languages, hiking and rock climbing.

The result was a throttle-filled carpet ride sounding like a fusion between Stevie Wonder and Tony MacAlpine.
